Each jewel begins its journey in a jeweler’s Shopify store or POS.
After a verified sale or submission, the jeweler initiates certification directly through the Norrstone platform.

2. Laboratory Report Referencing

Instead of re-certifying gems, Norrstone mints blockchain references to existing laboratory reports — such as those issued by GIA, IGI, HRD, and other accredited institutions. This anchors the lab report’s unique ID and characteristics on-chain, ensuring that every certificate is verifiably tied to its original grading source without duplication or alteration.

Norrstone also offer jewel attested certifications for non-lab certified items.

3. Blockchain Certification

Norrstone then issues a tamper-proof digital certificate — a permanent blockchain record of authenticity, provenance, and characteristics.
Each certificate links seamlessly to a QR or NFC tag, allowing instant verification by jewelers, owners, insurers, and resellers worldwide.

4. Owner Connection & Vault Activation

When the jewel is sold or transferred, ownership is updated in the Norrstone Vault app.

Owners can view verified certificates, manage receipts, and access loyalty benefits such as care plans, trade-ins, and resale offers — connecting them for life with their trusted jeweler.

5. Verified Resale & Lifetime Value

Certified pieces can be listed on the Norrstone Marketplace for verified resale, with provenance and authenticity automatically validated through the blockchain record.
